It wouldn't serve some big higher purpose, it wouldn't even be hard to program. Just a simple Like and Dislike button on a post, and beside that in brackets would be the number of times it has been liked or disliked. The Forum would not keep track of a players # of posts they have liked or have had liked and vice versa. It would just be a neat way to show support on things on all the forums without having to make a direct response to it on the thread. Just a fun little idea, easy to make and non-obtrusive.

"it wouldn't even be hard to program" Are you sure about this?

I'm positive. I know basic programming, I'm towards the end of a high school computer science class and could script it in VB in 20 seconds. The thing that would be at all difficult is making it work online. However they did full on data persistence so making an integer vablue pop up wouldn't be hard.
