There are many advances in Roblox which potentially open up new areas of gameplay.
One of the least popular types of games to create are RTS and RT4X games.
Since Hathelper's 'The Conquerors', the RTS genre on Roblox has died down.
There is now a need for an RTS/RT4X game.

If Davidii could implement matchmaking, so can anyone right?
Matchmaking is an important thing in an RTS as players are disadvantaged upon entering an already advanced game.
Crowdsourced maps for variety and replayability.
Everyone likes new maps and all the better if the creator just gave free reign to create maps to everyone else so that the creator can focus on the game mechanics.
In an RTS/RT4X, there are at least 3 fractions to play with.
Creating 3 or more fractions/races (Optional: With backstories) would make for a fun and varied gameplay.

With datastores, save every aspect of an ongoing game session for play on a later time. RTS and especially RT4X games may potentially last for hours to days on end, depending on the complexity of the game. Having a save functionality would be extremely valuable. Sync problems should be eliminated.
If the game is a space game, utilise the 3 dimensional properties of space to allow for complex maneuvers involving height.

Notes
Loading times can be disregarded in the short run. Use streaming to load things on the go and/or introduce a loading screen.
Preferred approach is not to maintain compatibility with low-end machines so as to allow for more intensive and therefore fun games.
Feedback can be a great deal in game creation, do not disregard it.
