Groups can send all their member's a message using a GUI in group options. Players can have group messaging off so they don't receive the message.

Why do you need a group message while there are parties?

Players can have group messaging off so they don't receive the message. They have to be in the group though.

This kind of would defeat the purpose of group shouts.

@Nicole Not everyone sees the group shout and it can be overwritten. Meanwhile the notification showing you have a PM will stay until you read it. Support.
