HI, I was just scammed pretty valuable limeteds by user "Venaries".
I looked up his name on people, more than a page of scammed people came up.
It's sad.
He used a smart process also, including a glitch.
I was playing trade hangout, when i sent a trade an suddenly got a party invite.
As usual i accepted.
We talked for a little.

Me:Hello?
Venaries:Hi, do you scam?
Me: No.
Me: why?
Ven: I wanted to send you a trade.
Me:Okay then send it i guess.
Ven:Please don't scam, I am sending 2 trades. You have to accept both or decline both. Exp: If you dcline one then you have to do so to the other.
Me: Okay, send. (In my head "This guy is oretty nice i guess, weary and cautious about scammers, good grammar, and is pretty nice.")
Ven:It would be better to have an egg so it is more even.
Me: No, i don't have enough, and don't want to.
Ven:Okay i'll send, but it won't be as valuble.

I get 2 trades.
1st trade: (The legit)
I give: Brighteyes chest and Rainbow Omega Helmet.
Ven gives: Some thing thats like 700.
(In my head "HEck no, My rap is 3k+ and his is 700! What the?!?!?")
2nd trade:(The scam)
I give: Rejected horror movie
Ven gives: Money tophat, valk, perfectly legit fedora, and 10k+ Robux
I emidtly accepted it not thinking about possibility, then because of the NON scammer I am i accepted the other.
Worst decision on ROBLOX i have made.
I now have lost 3k+ ROBUX rap And 30$ real life money.
The others got the worst of it... 10k+ Items..
Thats 100$ in real life... wait no.. more!
Why do people have to be like this..?
Why do people have to be so rude?
Why is our world like this?
I am not Super mad, but i am mad.
It is only a game, but it still converts into real life money.
I will be having my dad call ROBUX HQ tomarrow.
I am going to have him explain what happened, and tell them to try to get my limeteds back, or atleast some robux.
Please speard the word to make the admins see.
Post how you've been scammed in the responses, and ways to help.
Scammers will never stop, But we need to atleast let their names be known, and tell people how to avoid being scammed.

The reason the trade with his items didn't go through is because he likely added robux to the trade, and then traded them into tix seconds after, which causes the trade to decline when you accept it because he doesnt have enough robux to complete that trade.
That's how the whole double trade scam works. It's pretty easy to do. Not that I've ever done it ;)
Someone who totally isn't me does it to grind for stuff like legit, though now someone has listed a friend of a friend as a scammer (it was only 300 Rap, come on man!) |

I've got a trade like this inbound. I know it's a scam, just trying to work out how.
A guy called Flav_our messages me about a double trade (a quick internet search would reveal its a scam) and a guy called Jixsterix just send the double trade.
Obviously not going to accept it. BUT BE WARE OF THESE TWO PEOPLE AND TRADES LIKE THIS. |
