@duelingwarlord
You call that a flaw?
Places open from the website; they're not ON the website.
That makes no sense.
Nice try, though.
But the fish is still smarter than you. |

Wow, you really didn't read it did you? <:o
"- Now whenever someone's Place becomes a Bought Place, the Place disappears from the
developer's Place list, and it remains on the page. If the Bought Place is sold to a website it
still appears on the Games page, but clicking it links to the website that it has been sold to. It
has the same page layout on that specific webpage, but the background and style design is
the same as the new website it is on. The Online tab (with Party and Player chat) remains as
well as the toolbars at the top of the actual ROBLOX website but it disappears when you go to
a part of that website that doesn't have a ROBLOX Place. The creator of the Place is still
shown, but the Bought Place moves to the Bought Places game page and it is removed from
their profile to show that ROBLOX has full rights to it now. ROBLOX is basically expanding to
other sites with this update."
-- you're still logged in, bro.
Should've done your homework.
Now you can't play ball.
Quit tripping over yourself and read the idea you're trying to poke holes in.

not only is that stupid but no companies would do dis.
if i am a company that bought the game, I don't want it "owned to roblox",
i bought all commercial rights and I want it on MY WEBSITE WHERE PEOPLE WILL CLICK NOW.
this is what a good company would think.
so stay in school and learn more about business before you try to act the expert.

Any company would reason enough to allow people to PLAY THE GAME.
ROBLOX gives ad rights and game rights to them so they get everything.
Businesses know it's all about the money.
Why do you think they do what they do?
What that does doesn't hurt them at all.
It actually helps them so more than just guests can play, and the players will be their starting income and traffic which they build on.
Publicity, money, endorsements, fame, without work
Why would they say no?
See you should really read the idea.
You'd be better at poking holes in something you know about. |

@duelingwarlord
May I ask what you mean by free?
If you mean if they don't want the visits to be free then I would say they wouldn't want them to cost anything.
They need the traffic that's how websites mainly make money.
Making it free to play would garuntee more players.
I'm sure that websites could do what they want with their new places, though. |

Yeah this is never going to happen. People will continue to buy BC and robux for a long time. Especially since a lot of new good games are coming out, I'm not sure if you've seen "Silence" that was released around a week ago but that has some interesting gameplay.
Also, I don't think businesses will pay $10,000-$25,000 for a game that was made on ROBLOX. I could be wrong here of course, you would have to have a extremely good game and probably would have to spend like a year working on it. ROBLOX makes money from advertisements on here anyway, if you're not a builders club member then there's around two advertisements on every page you go on - millions of robloxians on ROBLOX.com makes money.
Some developers are making more than $1000 anyway (10% cut of $10,000) if you've read the blog TheGamer101 made $10,000 in a single month.
I don't see your idea happening any time soon, sorry.

Lol my thread when I'm asleep am I right?
I think it's time that the "stupid" "elementary school" OP defends his own thread, if only for a minute.
First off I would like to thank everyone who supported while I left.
I'd also like to thank the thread defenders who defended the thread while I was gone; I couldn't have handled it any better myself.
And now I'd like to argue for my idea:
@CVW
I understand what you're saying, and I've noticed you've repeated yourself a lot. I guess I'll grant you a direct response:
1) The only ROBLOX system removed in this update is buying BC and R$. Everything else is still there. This update changes a lot, but at the same time not really. It changes a lot of a certain aspect of ROBLOX, which is its main source of profit.
2) The system becomes more complicated in its mechanisms, but how it plays out is actually very, very simple. So simple I could summarize it in a paragraph:
- Someone builds good game
- ROBLOX sees good game
- ROBLOX offers the BC exchange agreement in exchange for
that place
- ROBLOX sells that game to another website
- That website gets garunteed profit due to the amount of players already playing and linking and the amount of players to come.
- It starts over
You could still not accept the BC exchange, but you end up making more money with it. Not to mention the DevEx is there no matter what you do (Yeah it will be different; probably higher).
@Kingstarwest
This was an interesting spin-off of a point that is already contradicted. By this link:
www.addictinggames.com/shooting-games/roblox-game.jsp
And yes this link is entirely legit.
ROBLOX is interested in at least partnering with other websites brought their own places.
And I have a polished system to this, that not only FIXES INFLATION, And MAKES ROBLOX MORE MONEY, but also GIVES THE PLAYERS A BETTER EXPERIENCE.
And let me point out that this is an optional path; an encouraged pay, but optional.
You'd actually be better off with this money-wise than anything else.
People like TheGamer101 probably used DevEx to make their money, which by the way, will still exist and fully function with this update no matter what.
R$ and BC purchases cause inflation (read my long post on page 2 or my question and answer post on page 1), which is why I provided substitute purchases, which in my opinion is a better system, because ROBLOX won't and will not need to continue to need money from purchases with this update so effects will be permanent to your account. And it allows more currency circulation into ROBLOX because inflation won't exist, and therefore more freedom.
Places can make that much. That is the same average that any flash game would make if sold, even one not many play.
And places are garunteed money makers because of the ads and player traffic that come with it. They'll make whatever money they spend on it back.
And this update will increase ROBLOX players and accounts by a big margin, which will help the system work in itself.
@duelingwarlord
Maybe try?
@bloppers912
You've said that so many times and it has been countered and negated already.
Sorry if it got a little long. |
