Verlander was doing pretty well through the first five. But then came the sixth, and things just exploded . . . Gee-wiz! Tigers pitching can't seem to catch a break anymore. Also, it seems now that they'll win a couple in a row, and then lose the next two or three games. Just seems like a funk the Tigers are having a hard time getting out of.

I didnt think the white sox would win till that 6th inning when Verlander was just causing trouble for himself. I was very impressed by Danks good start once again though

I actually kind of expected the Tigers to do a little more scoring than that off Danks. But I guess that didn't happen.

I guess the difference between the Tigers and the Cards is that the Cards still actually have their pitching. Over this tough stretch, Tigers pitching has been a complete flop.
