Honestly, Spectrum, BiB, Cryo, all those projects were just different kinds of weapons loadout systems as designed through the personal perspectives of different clan owners.
It wasn't really anything new, not that roblox supports much at all, but there were still ideas out there.
In all honesty if you want to know in terms of place updates, who's had considerable influence as well, outside of what ColourTheory supposedly has or has not done,
you should look at the project I was making back in 2012.
When everyone was still using sticks & stones (Rehashing weapons loadout systems, ect), I was attempting to make a place to place space raid system involving around 9+ places.
This was 2 years before the universe place feature.
After one of the city maps I made for my system that I didn't finish got on the blog, a few years later the admins decide to make having lots of places available not only to people that have OBC, but everyone, via the universe feature.
Now everyone is doing universe type maps, & I mean virtually everybody is.
I don't know of any multi-map space raid system that was actually developed to some kind of a substantial fruition that was made before mine was, thus by default more or less the universe feature was inspired by my work, which of course, is on free models & is being sued by everyone everywhere, even by admins, in admin's place.
I mean there's no direct evidence really linking anybody anywhere 100% to any given update, but if we're going by weak circumstancial evidence, like Tenal says, than by default the universe feature would be attributed to me, as whatever other update you say is attributed to CT, ect.
In all honesty the universe update is far more influential in clans now than any other update really, considering it's the new trend/fad; making clans into civilizations/cultures, ect. :P"

if you have the serious audacity to claim that colourtheory was the key to innovation and scripting, you never seen Acera (probably one of the best architecture groups to date) or any traditional sci-fi clan (ex. TSE by starunion), horatio45's MB/World Federation, E981's OSE/OVA. None of these are superclans, but they're way better in every way. |
