Our drawing process is this:
Once in a blue moon I actually get the motivation to draw something
Start with the head
Draw eyes/mouth
Eyes/mouth look like crap; don't know any good styles
Toss paper in trash and lose all motivation

thats why i usually sketch my drawing out before i actually start drawing. it helps a bunch and i feel more motivated. if you draw your drawing the first time there is a big chance the second time itll look x10 better |

Actually I use SAI and draw with a mouse, and my pictures come out fine.
