You're still focusing on the parts the update intentionally added, I honestly feel like the slide-ey controls were a byproduct of the update and they kept it in because it felt realistic or something. Plus, I'm talking about how the Humanoids walk on their own, not with a car/treadmill.
Positive change is good. Momentous treadmills are cool I guess.
Negative change is bad. I'd rather have a floor not made of ice.

And following a recent update the issue with sliding at normal walkspeeds was fixed. Aswell as the issue regarding thin parts, so I really don't see what there is for people to complain about.
The recent physics update added far more realistic momentum to objects. You jump off of something that's moving, you'll continue in the same direction for a while, instead of dropping like a dead weight, like you used to. So, I hardly see how it's just for users to complain of sliding behaviour at much higher walkspeeds, as if you were running fast enough, and just stopped, you would skid to a halt not just stand still like a buffoon. |
