I climbed up another floor to find a troupe of guards. I took cover at a wall, and began firing at them with my assault rifle. This could take a while. |

Two more floors up. Sarah heard gunfiring, and slowly went up the next flight of stairs. She was 5 steps down fromt he top. She peered over the top. |

I pressed down the trigger again and heard a click. No ammunition left. I tossed the gun to the side, irritated. Now this would be a major problem. |

She saw a spider mutant thing throw a gun away. The was getting interesting. |

I held out my spear. I had to hope that they would move towards me. That was the only way to kill them. |

Luckily for me, the Satyrs began to charge. They fired as they ran, but their bullets did nothing. I speared the first one through the chest, quickly grabbing his gun. I unloaded gunfire on the rest, killing them. There were only four of them. The rest would be on the top floor. |

She saw it stab at something, then grab a gun. Had it killed all of the people she had seen on the way up? |

Saur led the group through another patch of trees to a clearing where the group of humans sat, easy prey for raiders.
He puleld his cloak to his body, and put his hood over his face, his true self was not unseen and hiding. He stepped out int othe clearing and roared.
"WELCOME!" His voice rang over the clearing. |

I remembered to pick up all of their guns and ammo this time, putting them in the sports bag on my spider part's back. I would be prepared for the next wave. |

She quietly came up. Stealth was her specialty. She pressed against the same wall it had been against. She did it with out a sound. She began to slide down the wall towards the corner it had disappeared around. |

I walked up the final staircase. I emerged facing yet another large squad of soldier Satyrs, but this time they were more heavily armed. A chaingun had been set up in the hallway, and the Satyrs were all armed with heavy weapons. I took cover again as they began to fire. |

Sarah went to the next staircase. She gasped silently when she reached the top and spotted the spider-person. She egan to slowly back down the stairs. |

I let loose a hail of blind-fire from my cover, killing one of them. "Great..." I grumbled. "One down, five to go." |

Sarah heard the spider-man mumble something. She was about 10 steps from the top. She would wait for him to pass to go up. |

Saur smiled as several them gasped. He recognised one of them from the ealier incident. He laughed under his hood, enjoying this.
"Welcome..." He said, pulling off his hood, "...To paradise" |

Luke climbed to the top of the telephone pole, scanning his surroundings. He tooks his canteen out and drank for a second, then hopped off of the pole. |

I swore as I saw one of the animal-men take off his cloak. I grabbed a chunk of a pole, and walked forward saying,"What do you want with us?" |

"Why!" He said, smiling.
"Simply to welcome you, and to inform you that you're standing in a very bad place." He said, getting serious. He puleld his hood over his head.
"If you want to survive more then a night out here, follow me." |

I quickly scanned through my bag. I found a grenade among my things. I was saving it, but I did need it. I pulled it from the bag, and pulled the pin. I lobbed it into the crowd. They instantly scrambled to get away. The explosion killed two, and the confusion allowed me to kill the others. |

"And why would we trust you?",I responded,"For all we know, you could be a murderer!" I heard murmurs of agreement from my bunker-mates. |

Sarah heard an explosion. Had the spider exploded or whatever he was fighting? She began to crawl up the stairs. |

"Because" He said, turning to face them. "If you don't get killed by the Raiders, somone else will" He said grimly. "There is no law up here, and you are in a perfect spot for a trap." |
