Is this some sorta glitch? I'm okay with giving 3.0 for free and all that, but make it optional. all new users apparently now get a motorcycle shirt and jeans. (Ha some of dem Bcers out there...teasing noobs for looks, well guess what, now you can't. Soon guests will look like this too!100% guarantee >:D) You promised in 2012 roblox this in a blog article that nobody probably remembers except those here in March of 2012:"Roblox 3.0 will never be the default package and will likely only be available to BCers.(With the exception that the 3.0 may be on sale for NBC) I honestly completely disagree with this update. You can keep the clothing thing...but 3.0, if your going to make it free, please DO NOT make it the default. You promised. Son't go any further than you already have...if i see guests wearing this I will scream and run away forever...as will probably a billion others that are sickened by this. I spent some Rbx on the 3.0. I don't mind it...but making it the default and giving out the 95 rbx Pal hair to new users for FREE? Wow. i'm glad your becoming a free site roblox, honestly...but some things are meant to be how you made them...no matter how much we protest sometimes.

After reading your word wall I'll make the following statement:
Nowhere did they state that they wouldn't give the 3.0 body out to new users, for free. The statement made by ROBLOX, that you're quoting, was saying that they wouldn't make it the default body, as in if you removed all of your clothing (and packages) the 3.0 body wouldn't be automatically applied (currently the 1.0 body is applied).

We are soon going to change the default appearance of new players to have a slightly more modern and complex appearance. All the items that make up these new looks are available for free for everyone right now, new member or old, so if you’re looking for an arm with a hand or nice denim jacket, you can pick one up at no cost!

However, the blog post that the original poster is attempting to quote refers to the default, default, character rather than the default set of items given. The one the OP is referring to, where they said they will never make it the default body, is talking about the fact that they won't make the default body shape be 3.0 when you remove all packages from your character. |

@cold No. Read the word wall. I posted this while I was in a rush, in no need of organizing it. If you want one, i'll do it now.
tl;dr
My point, roblox said that they wouldn't be giving it default, as far as I'm concerned, not even start wise. I like the modern effect, but what I am angry about is that roblox said the 3.0 is to be just a BC feature for a slightly modernized effect. They make it free, and auto give it to everyone. People paid for that...now your going to give it away for free? I know it's not possible to give away a tn of rbx back to the users who bought it. However, all the same, 3.0 is one thing. I only disagree with it being a starter package.
The pal hair is my true rant. The pal hair is 90 rbx, and was bought by not many, but a few hundred BCers and NBcers who DID NOT get it for free. Now roblox gives it out freely to new players. Seriously? If your going to do that, make the hair free for goodness sake! Heck, make the motorcycle shirt/jeans free! My final point?
Roblox goofed up on this.

It is indeed default, but also possible to remove.
Thus, by that standard, they are optional.

@Esp My point wasn't that. I like it a bit...but I disagree with instantly giving it to them. I also disagree with giving them the pal hair. If they were to keep the 3.0...that's fine. But make the pal hair free. Stop giving them free pal hair! And as for the roblox cap...if your to give them any other hair...make the cap go on sale 2 or so years later limited >:3 |

@Pv I'm not complaining about them being noobs. This has nothing to do with that. My complaint is that they get a 90 rbx hat, and a free 3.0. I'm okay with the 3.0 but seriously...The fact that we have to pay for items new players get for free? Really? Really? 3.0 is free(And i'd love if you gave rbx back to those who bought it, but I know it'd be tough work now)...I'd hope the motorcycle shirt stuff is free, but the pal hair? We have to pay for that still? Make it free and the roblox cap limited or something, or just go back to a roblox cap/cool hair or something. No I'm not complaining about noobs at all, because in a few years...nobody will remember the previous generation noobs, and everyone with a motorcycle shirt and jeans and pal hair will be called a noob. This update only gets a better design, and it's an okay one. But the pal hair for 90 rbx is my complaint. Make it free. |

I started like this on this account. umad? i LOVE this update!! now no bcer can make fun of me for "looking nooby" If you are seriously complaining this much about a package on a kid's game then you need to take a break from the internet for a while. It's so sad how you had to pay virtual money for it. Very heartbreaking.
