We Came as Romans aren't scene at all, nor are SS. Most genres of metal have breakdowns. Crappy fashion is only found in crunkcore. I haven't heard complaining in metalcore/deathcore. And deathcore is mostly about hate while metalcore is mostly about depression or it's really motivational. |

Deathcore and metalcore possess the -core suffix because they are not, in fact, metal.
They are hardcore/post-hardcore offshoots.

Metalcore don't look metal, but some deathcore does. Look at Whitechapel, Suicide Silence, Thy Art Is Murder, etc.
Deathcore I wouldn't consider scene. The only things Deathcore that are close to "scene" are Chelsea Grin's "Evolve" EP, and TBC from Suicide Silence. I really can't see Annotations of an Autopsy or Carnifex under scene. |

I'm the type of person who listens to those bands like Slipknot, KoRn, Linkin Park, that complain about their lives, and other bands such as System of a Down that curse out the government and other bands such as A7X and Killswitch Engage and Disturbed that I have no idea what they're talking about, but I'm sure some complaining is in it c;
But, no, I am anything BUT depressed. I'm probably the most happy, psychotic person in my town. |
