Do I just look at other gun scripts or the wiki. I need to know the best way to learn about them. I just want to make a simple gun that where I click a yellow laser comes from the gun to the spot I clicked .-.

TouchInterest is added when you connect the .Touched event to a BasePart.

There's a line like
bullet.CFrame={something}.CFrame
I believe
add something like this
bullet.CFrame={something}.CFrame*CFrame.new(0,1,0)
That will but the bullet 1 stud higher. Keep experimenting with that until it comes out right. |

Whenever I de-select and re-select the tool falls apart, but the handle stays on |

What does your .Touched event look like for the projectiles? Post that and I can make it ignore BaseParts with a Parent whose ClassName is "Hat". |
