Sandman comics (ahem, I mean "Graphic Novels") I have a lot of favorite books. It's hard to pick just one. Maybe Voyage of the Dawn Treader in fiction and 1776 in non-fiction.

Fav comics... commissionedcomic.com -awesome drawings, updated daily, RPG humour, but also everyday situations. Very funny! And I'm gonna start my own comic soon! Well, it means in about few months... Fav books...? Well, so far I can tell fav authors- Lem (fellow countryman! :) (hardcore sci-fi, and heavy oldschool feeling on every his book. Worth trying, at least once), Pratchett (just good books, really good, great mix of intrigues and humour), A. Pilipiuk (he writes great fantasy books about Polish countryside, pure win and awesomeness, about guy called "Jakub Wędrowycz". I have no clue how to translate it to English. Maybe just go google it, I'm too lazy), and in general, I like big amount of books, both old ones and new ones. I dunno if "Qvo Vadis" tells you something. I readed this thing to it's half, but just because it has good criminal intrigue, with romans spying on Christians, but second half is mostly Marcus romacing with Lygia, and I got bored. Hard beginning, single phrases may take up to two pages in native version.
