There are two guitars I like, both Les Pauls. Epiphone Custom Pro or Gibson Special. The Gibson is 50 dollars extra, but I'm not sure it's worth it. But they both seem good.

don't get either 1. epiphone is trash 2. les pauls are overused and cliche 3. gibsons are overpriced [2WC / ND / JD]
