"You kids"... Anyways, maybe it's not entirely possible. But I'm not sure many people know how to do the expect element thing, if the images are even to size. And even then there's another way to copy; but decreasing the # of ways to copy will STILL help.

1. I support, but there is a consequence to it. There are people, such as me, who use clothing templates as an inspiration for an item. For example, I might look an example of a transparent torso, use it as an outline for a torso I am creating, and add aspects that make it different from the original. I am not copying the item, but it is an inspiration. There are also times where someone asks me for help on a clothing item, I copy the template, I make adjustments to it, and I upload it to ROBLOX for that person to comment on. 2. There is a loophole to this idea. People can still printscreen and paste it to an editing program. 3. I like it, but it can still be edited out if people really want that item. 4. How will ROBLOX know if that item is an inspiration off something or an actual copy? It would also be a huge waste of the moderator's time to go through the thousands of clothing templates.

Thanks again supporters @ace 1. People can message you a link of the template directly and you can get it from there. And no offense, but just because you would like to use templates as a base/meshes doesn't mean that should be taken away. And anyways, you can still ask someone for the template and if they say no, maybe someone else. Ask someone for help with your problem. 2. If they were to print screen it, again it wouldn't be to size. Yes, they could resize it and copy it onto a template, but who cares when it would be super blurry and distorted? 3. That depends on where the trademark is. If it's over a textured thing, it would be hard to color over it with the same texture as the item. And it would take some time, so it's better than nothing. 4. I kinda ditched that idea now.

I'm going to set this as a straight facts/opinions to support my wording, people long ago thought flying was impossible. What do we have now? We can fly all around the world. Nothing is impossible, people thought iphone's was impossible steve jobs was told don't try, it's not worth it, it will never happen, keep dreaming. People thought we were never going to advance into medicine we have today, and so you telling me this to my ##### face saying coding a simple game, that doesn't involve alot of lua cannot be done? Yeah it may be hard at first, but so were those other things. Just give this forum some support, and bump this thread. Cause if you just give up, what is the point of roblox? Where's the creativity then? Where's the fun? Where's the motivation to stay on this lego game? There would be none, and kids like me, would be gone. You would have beginners starting from where we left off, were not just designers were leaders. Were motivation for the future of roblox..

Yep that's true, it is very possible to code the website where copying wouldn't be possible, or at least not as easy as it is now. However as mentioned ROBLOX is centered around gameplay and don't seem to care enough about the clothing side of things. @fast wot r u doing here

See, the thing about #2 is that there's this magical feature I found on Google Chrome where all you have to do is resize the browser window. Then you click and drag the image onto the desktop, and you get a free copy of the image!

Stay strong #3. Even though I don't have high hopes on that one... And it's more of a problem that people are reselling clothing than copying it. And you don't have to re-sale clothing to get it for free.

I'll say support. But I'd say make the templates not seen instead of just not able to copy, because copiers could take a screenshot and crop it. Oops, I was hungry so I ate the reply button :3

I support #1, #3 and #4. It would not be possible to complete #2. It is not ROBLOX's fault who downloads photos : it's your browser's. - AudioChef/manc192 - HAIL STAN -
