Actually no, it's dumb.
Human intelligence is MUCH more complex then a simple "number slider." Why the hell would it be? Let's say a person's really really good at math, like really awesome at it. They can do complex equations easily and quickly in your head. But then someone tries to shove science in their face, or makes them write a short story. Whaaaaaaat? They don't know how to do that, they're terrible at doing stuff in those subjects!
Does I.Q. show the strengths and weaknesses of a specific human mind?
