Hello Robloxians,
We just released a 3D thumbnails feature on the website. If you visit the page of a hat, gear, package, or character, you will see a small "Enable 3D" button that you can click to load up a 3D spinning view of the item.
Feel free to give your feedback about the feature in this thread, or post if you are having issues loading 3D thumbnails.

1. Black Texture Bug
If you load a 3D thumbnail and see a black texture, or the thumbnail fails to load, this is an issue we are aware of and will fix soon.
2. If a 3d thumbnail won't load for you, open up the developer tools in your browser (f12) and post here telling me if the console tab is filled with messages about using cross origin images. If it is, this is the same bug that is causing black textures, and will be fixed as soon as possible.
3. Enabling 3D Thumbs in Safari
Although most iOS devices won't support WebGL until iOS 8 is released, you can turn on WebGL manually for Safari on some Mac computers by following these instructions:
a. In Safari, open the Safari menu and select Preferences.
b. Then, click the Advanced tab in the Preferences window.
c. Now, at the bottom of the window, check the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox.
d. Open the Develop menu in the menu bar and select Enable WebGL.
4. Compatibility
3D thumbnails require WebGL to work. Most modern browsers have WebGL, but many older versions do not. If you get the message that your browser is unsupported, make sure that you upgrade to the latest version.

Opera
Internet Explorer (version 11+)
Unsupported Browsers:
Safari for iPad (until iOS 8 comes out)
Chrome for iPad (until iOS 8 comes out)
Safari for Windows

I have a MacBook with a fully updated Chrome browser. Yet, I still get the error message that either my browser or my OS is out of date. Any suggestions? |

The 3D Thumbnail does not load correctly for me and I'm on Firefox for Windows..
It loads but when you try to look at someones outfits, the outfit is shined with white on the person. |

Congratulations Merely, I was suggesting for this idea last year in the Suggestions & Ides forum, but nobody wasn't listening to my thread but Merely came up with his OWN idea is about their 3D Rotation feature. But it came alive!
One problem: It doesn't load up 3D Rotation on my Character (I think it's something to do with memory), but it works on hats and gear which I am pleased with!
