Hello, Pinewood members.
Pinewood management has come up with an idea for a nonstop 24-hour stream on Twitch.tv. However, we would like Pinewood's thoughts and ideas on the idea. What should we include in it? When should it be?
Now, we cannot guarantee that it will happen, and it is in its early stages. To follow through we will need opinions to help perfect the idea.

By conducting and running a 24-hour twitch stream, it is best that you consider my advise and my suggestions. A 24 hour stream for Pinewood is benefical, but only if you are willing to deal with the stream itself and yourself also.
Section I: Pre-stream setup
Before launching the 24 hour stream, it is best that you do the following:
*Make a name that will gain attention from people wandering in the ROBLOX twitch section.
*Make sure you are energized, well fed, and entertaining enough to keep your viewers interested.
*Make sure you have a very compact and good layout of the stream (no bulky letters, no blocks and whatnot blocking half of the screen, and best of all keep everything small and important so that viewers can see almost everything that is going on)
*Make sure you have a set of things to do to entertain during the 24 hours.
*Make your layout look professional and stylish, unique to the Pinewood theme.
*Make sure ROBLOX or anything else runs perfectly smooth, without any interruptions.
*Make sure you have backup streamers and helpers to support the stream.
*Test your equipment, make sure your voice is able to be heard and be clear as well.
*Designate a plan of things to do during the stream.
*Don't sponsor too much (ex. don't just slap Join Pinewood Builders today on the screen every 2 minutes or less.)
*If you do not have good equipment, buy some that are affordable.
Section II: Ideas and Suggestions
Following my recommended pre-stream setup, I have made up a list of possible ideas to use and suggestions to consider:
*ROBLOX games - Obviously, Pinewood Builders is a ROBLOX group, so show some ROBLOX pride by showcasing several Pinewood Builders' offical places and also some member places. Remember to showcase the place with a good camera angle, rather than just looking at your character's back.
*Other games - Pinewood Builders is all about building and creativity, so show some building games, but after that you can probably do some other games for entertainment. Play games that have action instantly on start.
*Introduction about stream/Pinewood Builders - It is recommended that you wait until enough people have showed up and then introduce your 24 hour stream and Pinewood Builders. Also, you need a purpose for the stream and explain why you are doing it. You can setup a few things when you wait, it is fine.
*Group events - This has been a good year, as the group members became friends with each other and it is best that you let them all join in on servers to have some fun while showing respect for Pinewood Builders. Remember to tell yourself and all members to behave and be friendly. Be cautious when doing events, as exploiters are rising in ROBLOX as of now.
Section III: Comments
If you need help with the stream or need more information, please let me know. I can learn to design the layout, as well dedicate to the plan of the 24 hour stream. This 24 hour stream idea is a bit too early, so it may not get as much viewers. However, if the idea is in consideration to be in effect, I will gladly offer help.

Indeed, a 24 hour Twitch stream would be a good idea, but you would have to do staff rotations. Many people from different timezones could do 1 or 2 hour slots at different times, easing the workload.
Apart from that one issue, and of course, making sure you have interesting content all day, and are not having to repeat your schedule every hour, then I would definitely suggest that a Twitch livestream is a good idea.
Your schedule for a day could consist of Q&A Sessions, Building streams, Pinewood news, Updates on events etc. And anything else you would like to include.

I'm sure people would like it, but I personally don't watch streams. I prefer edited videos... but I think it would be popular.

Good Morning,
As someone already said, I believe there should be 1 to 2 hour shifts, you could find someone with a microphone, and then hand it over to them. BUT! I believe it should only be handed over to Moderation and if there are not enough Moderation willing to do it, you can include T3, and T2. This would be good because it wouldn't be the same person streaming for 24 Hours. And it would give people breaks to eat/rest.
Can we do some sort of Pinewood News Cast, where someone takes a 15 minute shift, and sort of does a talk in a news sort of fashion talking about whats going on in Pinewood, recent KoS order people should be aware of, and other things.
We should do an assortment of games, from Unturned to ROBLOX, and if we do play ROBLOX, visit some Pinewood Places, do some fun stuff with the people there, and then I suggest something REALLY GOOD for Pinewood, we could do something like games that don't get much attention from people, and you could take suggestions from people watching for games like that. If you play steam, atleast play Unturned for a while, then go to the pole and do that.

Hi bill! I could really help with the 24hr stream. I have a streaming PC with some what good games (eg. Minecraft, Roblox, Planetside 2, Simcity, Cube World, Unturned, World of Tanks/Warplanes, and Star Citizen. I have a headset and mic and I know how to stream all games. I could also stream roblox studio as I do a build or something. Bill, please skype me with any questions. I could also host some servers for my games. I can't be on at some times. I will be inactive for the weekend of July 19 - July 20. I really want to help with the stream so please write me back! |

Brick, it will probably only be a mixture of Moderation and possibly PBST T2+. And even if they do that, it would have a required age. I don't want to be listening to someone who has a loud, high pitched voice for 2 hours. Also, I have allergies so my voice is somewhat low pitched. ^.^ |

(this message was a PM, so yeah)I only have the basic simcity. I use OBS (https://obsproject.com/) It takes some learning to use so watch some youtube videos before you use it. You can stream and record local videos with it. Works great with minecraft and ROBLOX. I might post a youtube video on how I use it. I have a Logitech G430 gaming headset. The microphone is not that great, but still works for a headset. My birthday is the 29 so I might get the Blue Snowball Microphone. It is a great cheap, and quality microphone. If I have some money left over I might get the Blue Yeti instead, just because it is a little more quality. I will also post this on the thread so I can clear up any other questions.

I think that, every now and then, you should show real-time footage from servers in the Pinewood Computer Core, just to show what's happening, or if people are blowing up the core. |

I like the idea, but make sure not to push yourselves. As stated before, take 1-2 hours shifts, and if all mods already took shifts, allow T3/2 to stream. |
