Are you taking this information from a master/mistress of Lua, or just anyone who has the hang of it? I'd take the 'hang of it' guy. make it bun dem

I suppose it depends on whether you do or don't have a natural talent for coding, for example I am not one of those people and I have played ROBLOX since 2009 only knowing a minuscule amount.

I haven't even started yet. I learned a little bit of other scripting and tried applying it to Studio but it obviously didn't work. I've been stuck with scripting for years and its very frustrating.

I always wanted to script and I've spent time trying. But whenever I try to learn, I forget some crucial information a week later. :( make it bun dem

It all depends on how fast and how you learn

Well, to put simply, it depends on you, but if you want some some coding humor, it'll take math.huge

A true master, is an eternal student... Basically, to get started, learn the events, and if you want to do something, just look at the Wiki. :) You don't need to know Lua to write it, you can just reference the scripts and examples on the wiki, and as long as you are LOGICAL you can understand what it is saying, and bend the examples into what you want to use. Sortof. It can take as long as you want.

I agree with some post above. You will never stop learning.

It is so true that you never stop learning you know that you are getting better when you don't need to reference back to the wiki all the time :D
