Official L.I.G.H.T. Guide This guide should be read by all soldiers, and is used for maintaining order and holding other accountable. If someone is violating the guide, tell them what they are doing wrong, what section and paragraph relates to their violation and ask them to stop. If they do not stop, come to a High Ranking officer, and he/she will handle it. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [Table of Contents] >>SECTION 1 1. Mission Statement 2. Rules 3. Demotions 4. Promotions >>SECTION 2 1. Training Guide 2. Shout Tags 3. Expectations >>SECTION 3 1. On/Off duty 2. L.I.G.H.T. Pledge ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ SECTION 1: 1. Mission Statement L.I.G.H.T. is a Christian Military group that treats all soldiers with respect. We are not a Christian group that fights against, or even excludes, those who do not share our belief, but we exist to offer a Military that follows strict rules as to what we can and cannot do. We promise to give careful attention to our soldiers needs, and to not ridicule our troops. 2. Rules We follow a strict set of rules in order to make service in L.I.G.H.T. a fulfilling experience. 1. Sarcasm, rude behavior, and cursing are not allowed. Any fight between two members must be handled in an orderly fashion. The wall is moderated by Colonel’s so any violation of this will not go unnoticed. 2. All soldiers must obey their superiors without moment’s hesitation, unless they violate this guide. Likewise, all soldiers must treat their inferiors with respect, giving careful attention to everything they say, and not being prideful about your own rank. 3. Religious debates are not tolerated on the wall. If you want to politely discuss something with someone, do it in private messages. 4. Spamming is not tolerated on the wall. We all know the chain messages to win Robux are fake, and group invites are not to be tolerated either. 5. Uniforms must be worn in bases or training centers. If you can’t afford it, click “uniform example” on the side of the screen. 6. No matter if the L.I.G.H.T. soldier is on or off duty, he must treat everyone he encounters in a standard day in Robloxia with respect. Remember, you represent your group, so do not disobey any of the above rules even to non-L.I.G.H.T. members. 3. Demotions I thought it appropriate to place the demotions section directly after the rules section. Be warned, a violation of the rules will bring swift punishment. What punishment depends on what case, but here is a general outline. Violation 3: It is the most minor violation, and the punishment will most likely be kicking the violator from training, or a warning. This is for violators of rule 5. Violation 2: This is a little more severe, and can result in a demotion/banning from training for a week. This is for violators of rule 2 and 6. Violation 1: This is the worst violation, and can result in demotion/exile. This is for violators of rules 1, 3 and 4. If a Recruit violates rule 3 or 4, he will be exiled for sure. This is the Colonel’s duty to maintain order on the wall, and he should PM a General and ask him to demote violators of these rules. 4. Promotions Please see the rank guide: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=139334366 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ SECTION 2: 1. Training Guide: Trainings must be conducted with a General+ present, but a Major or Colonel may co-host a training. What is co-hosting a training? Well, a Major or Colonel can request that a General watch them as they train, and if they make a mistake the General+ can step in. The number one rule for anyone co-hosting is a GENERAL+ MUST BE PRESENT THE WHOLE TIME! A violation of this is a Violation 2, and if the training is bad, and the lower ranks complain, it can be a Violation 1. Trainings may not last for over an hour, and must be hosted at an approved place. 2. Shout Tags Anytime a Colonel+ Shouts, he must follow a specific conduct. The shout tag is placed at the beginning of the shout, letting members screen their shouts. [DEFEND] This means that there are raiders at our base. [RAID] This means we are going to raid someone else. [TRAINING] This means that a General+ is hosting a training. [CO HOST] This means that a Major or Colonel is hosting a training, with a General+ present. [AID] This means that one of our allies needs help from raiders. [END-------] This means that either raiding, training, or defending is over. Add either Training, Raid, Defend or Aid, in the blanks, depending on what has ended. [FORUM] This means that there is a new forum that members should read. [MESSAGE] This is used for general messages. [PATROL] This is when there is a very small threat or suspicion of raiders, usually 5 or under. If it is worse than this, then use [DEFEND] [HR MEETING] This is a meeting for a Colonel+ Only, discussing a matter of high importance. [HR TRAINING] This is a special training for Lieutenants+ specifically for how to be a High Rank. If the shout is of added significance, you may put more parentheses on the tag. For example, if our base is being overrun with raiders, you can do a level one threat [DEFEND] level two threat [[DEFEND]] or level three threat [[[DEFEND]]] The same with [MESSAGE] If you need to get something out of high importance, put more parentheses on it. 3. Expectations A soldier is expected to be in uniform whenever at an official L.I.G.H.T. place, or when raiding or aiding. A soldier is expected to take part in raids, and defend whenever he is needed. A soldier is expected to follow all the rules, and treat everyone with respect. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ SECTION 3: 1. On/Off Duty A soldier is on duty when he is patrolling, defending, raiding, attending trainings or aiding. When a soldier is on duty he is required to be in uniform, and when he is off duty he is also required to follow all L.I.G.H.T. rules, even to non-L.I.G.H.T. members. Breaking one of these rules is a Violation 2. L.I.G.H.T. Pledge I (Insert name here) Pledge to be respectful to all members, courteous to Non-Members, and obedient to my superiors. I pledge to hold others accountable by this guide, and to do my best to further L.I.G.H.T. I pledge to defend, to attack, and to aid whenever necessary. I will attend trainings to the best of my abilities, and if I become a High Ranking officer, be active, and swift to punishment and quick to notice hard work and award it properly. This Guide will be revised over time.
