Running through the woods, running now on adrenaline and pure detirmination, Xaad hurries to the center of the woods, where he knows there shall be a safe haven. Steeling himself against mixed emotions, he knows he cannot make it unless he is willing to sacrifice everything. Not that he has anything now, they all burned in that fire.
Deep in the woods, at its dark, evil core, lies a sect of priests, dabblers in the dark arts. Though they may not be the best of choices, they are the nearest help Xaad could think of. He knows, though they are not "good", they are just, and would be willing to listen to his pleas.
If he made it that far that is...
In these woods, there are predators, rouges, and thieves... Cuthroats who could care less about the country in ruins, nevertheless a wandering Xiidian.
Knowing this, Xaad had his Blade positioned so that he could get to it quickly... Hoping that was enough, he trudged on, through the brush, to the Dark Scholars. |

She shakes her head, Kneeling next to the Destroyer. Ephah sliced his neck in a flash, killing him. "...Another to add to my score..." Sariana sighs, retrieving Anala, nodding a thanks to the one who shot the Destroyer, and running off, towards the Caves... |

Bio: Serious and career-driven, younger then most scientists/biolgogists nowadays....feels inclined to search for the meaning of the "prophecy" and teh war...independent.

He trips over it, and, turning to catch a glimpse of it, lands hard on his shoulder.

Looks around in ruined food markets, slightly disturbed by the littering of bodies still left over from a previous territory fight.
Talan notices a small market stall stocked with oranges and no one around.
Walks towards it, grasping throwing star ready to attack any surprises..... |

Looking at the small girl, Xaad wonders what the poor thing is doing out here... These humans are always wandering about, exploring, putting their noses where they should not be... But, sighing, he picks up the limp body, and her weapons, stowing them away in his pack, carefully.
After finding a suitable location, he sets her down, and starts gathering some wood for a fire, seeing that he wont be going anywhere anytime soon... |

Talan collects the various oranges, stuffing enough for 3 days in her pack. She hurries down the street, nearing the coming ripped up alley, and finally coming out of the city into an open field.

Talan suddenly stops, smelling smoke. Her heart beast quickly, wondering if its those people with the fire magic following her again. Carefully, she looks into the sky, and notices a plume of smoke coming from the center of the forest...
She decides warmth is warmth, and it doesn't matter who has started the fire. |
