I grunt in reply and slowly walk through the crowd, trying to locate our objective. |

"I'll lead a team separate the gunmen and take them out. We'll come back as fast as we can to help with the mutant." I said to Tess.
"And by we I mean me" |

Neil. (I'm assuming we have ear-pieces? If not, then I don't speak to you guys.)
I break off from the group, walking into a deserted alley-way between two large corporate buildings. Making sure no one sees me, I teleport to the top of the left, disappearing in a cloud of smoke and reappearing in another cloud. "I'm up top. Nothing's up here." I say, checking the roofs.

"Look around inside the buildings" I told Neil |

Tessa
I put a finger on my ear-piece to hear Neil better.
"Nothing down here either..."
Suddenly, a burning car flies straight into me. Luckily, I manage to phase before it hits so it goes through my body.
"Watch out, someone's here!" I shout down my earpiece. Gunshots are heard in the distance, followed by an explosion. |

I quickly tracked the sound of the bullet hack to the shooter.
"Down the street and turn left!" I informed |

Neil.
I teleport back down, beside Daniel. "Grab on." I say, offering my left hand, my right occupied with the staff.

Neil.
I teleport us behind the shooters, grabbing my staff and hitting the closest one in the side of the knee, before teleporting again and hitting the next one in the gun, disarming him. "Tessa, get ready." I say, about to grab her and bring her here.

I let go off my earpiece and run to where Daniel had mentioned. While I sprint, I phase through the crazed civilians to avoid harming them. |

"Cover your ears!" I shout as I raised my hands and summoned an ear shattering frequency |

(Just jump in displaying your power against a gun man)
Tessa
A gun man fires at me rapidly, but the bullets only go through me doing no damage. I get close enough and hit the man's gun to the floor, then phase through him and kick him in the back.
"Have you located the guy throwing those cars?" I ask through my earpiece. |

"Dammit, Tess, Neil, I need backup down here..." I say, as a gunman starts shooting at me but then a portal created by me sends it back into the man's side. I make another portal to a gunman and before he can raise his weapon, I let a roundhouse kick fly and send him spinning. It feels good to finally get my head off things. |

As a car flies by again I trace it back to the thrower, a similar technique with the shooters.
"To the right of you!" |

Jake
Down the street I see a car skitter across, and I know that is our target.i make a portal to the end of the street, and see Daniel trying to trace the mutant as well. |

"Take me to the mutant!" I shouted through Jake's portal |

The hostile mutant appears to have a sort of shockwave power, which is powerful enough to fling cars across a large area.
"We have to get close to him! He'll obliterate us at a distance!" I shout. "I'll distract him, try and get close!"
With that, I begin to run towards the mutant as he flings cars towards me, each one going straight through my body. I take a large gulp of air and keep running sideways, taking down a few of his gun men. |

"Got it." I open a portal facing the back of the mutant, so that Daniel has the element of surprise with him, as I step through my own portal. |

Daniel
I jumo in the portal behind the mutant, raising my hand next to his ears and creating a loud screech. |

Jake
I follow Daniel, just in case he needs some help. |

(electrical shockwaves. He can fling things far distances with it)
The mutant screams in pain as Daniel uses his power against him. However, he quickly breaks the grip and fires a weakened shockwave at Daniel.
Tessa
The plan seems to have worked, as the mutant has stopped firing shockwaves towards me. I run forward, readying my power. |
