LK - Kids 3+ - No innapropriate content and is specifically designed for little kids. KG - Kids 8+ - Little innapropriate content and is specifically designed for kids. G - General Audience Ages 8+ - Little innapropriate content. PG - Parental Guidance Suggested 11+ - Mild violence, mild swearing, and mild adult content. 14 - Teenagers 14+ - Intense violence, moderate swearing, and moderate adult content. 16 - Teenagers 16+ - Strong violence, strong swearing, and some strong adult content. 17 - Teenagers 17+ - Strong graphic violence, strong explicit swearing, and strong adult content. 19 - Adults 19+ - Extreme graphic violence, extreme explicit swearing, and extreme/explicit adult content.

We have something like this over in the UK. Here is the UK version of that: Uc (for DVD only) (suitable for little kids) U (suitable for all) PG (parental guidance is suggested) 12A (for cinemas only) (under 12s must be accompanied by an adult) 12 (only for people aged 12 and up) 15 (only for people aged 15 and up) 18 (for adults only)

Might just as well give you the (simple) version we have in Sweden. -Allowed for all audiences -From 11 years and up (7 if accompanied by an adult) -From 15 years and up That's all there is.
