Why are you so supportive of a terrorist regime that uses innocent civilians as shields and puts weapons and bombs in schools and hospitals because it doesn't have an uniformed armed forces YET they decide to build tunnels and shoot rockets at israel because they stand for the 'destruction of the jewish state'?

People are supportive of israel, as its been since israel's creation, being singled out and defending itself, doing justice to the jewish people, and defending itself from hamas building tunnels through israel and attacking towns and shooting rockets.

and it's not like they're doing it for fun or anything. what do you think war is. they try to warn the citizens, hamas tells them not to listen to them and to stay put so that they get bombed and die and that just adds to the propaganda against israel. and you can even see hamas admitting to this on their own media that they control

2. Resources.
More of the second, because fighting for 'religion' can be viewed as just propaganda for instead to get resources, the crusades weren't just for 'religion' but Jerusalem had a major trading route that everyone wanted to control. |

The problem in the middle east is when the Ottoman Empire fell all the tribal clans started taking back their individual territory without defined borders or recognized sovereignty.
When Britain came and established the jewish state, all the arabs started hating waging several wars such as the six days war.
A military victory is mainly defined as a gain in territory, which israel got part of the gaza strip and west bank.
The Westernized nations are having a really hard time taking these 'The land belongs to us' statements by these countries because all of this is based off their religions. |
