I know that there's a selection box instance already, but I'm making a different suggestion. ObjectOutline will have an option that makes it visible through walls(in other words, it's on top of everything, similar to billboard guis. It will have a feather property which determines how it fades off and at what distance(pretty much an outward gradient outlining the object). It'll have Color3 property rather than a brick color. Transparency property, as well. An example of what this would look like, would be a game like L4D(outlines the survivors with a green to show their health). This would permit people to make character outlines appear through walls for team members(display their health with a green outline for healthy or a red for injured), this would permit people to show objectives through walls stylized, etc.. I just think it'd be a cool feature. If anyone needs anything expanded on that I was vague on let me know. -=Robo=-

Was anticipating the first response would say scriptable. xD It is, but, it'd be much more efficient and preferable to just have an object instance for it. -=Robo=-

robo, I'm a scripter, FULLY aware its scriptable, but having an object is very useful, roblox has done this sort of thing before, turning something scriptable into a service/object pathfindingservice, for example

and raycasting. back in the day people had to write algorithms to raycast. :P -=Robo=-

Writing algorithms to raycast was probably much less efficient that the current method anyway. I support, i'm all for adding new features. People who say scriptable should just leave, animations and various other things were already scriptable, but they were added anyways because they streamlined the process, and we want building to be accesible to everyone. I for one, don't have the technical/math skills to write an algorithm for a raycast.
