Hey I got the empty baseplate and im tryin to put tools in it and i save it after i do then i get back on and the tools are gone!! To coolrobloxo: For you to change your spawn points into checkpoints all you have to do is follow the following steps. First open your place and select Insert at the top left' of the screen. Then click on the drop menu on the window that has just appeared, then select game objects. Under game objects you will see spawns click on the one you want to be the beginning spawn but do not click on the grey one, it is neutral. Then click on the the others for those will be your checkpoints. Under explorer there should be Teams and then the team name change the name of the team to what you want the checkpoint to be called. Then click on the team name you want to have in the beginning and under it there should be an option that says auto-assignable, check it. For the checkpoints do the same thing but uncheck it. Also click on the checkpoints and make sure under properties that allowteamchangeontouch is checked then you are done. |

To Physike: Here. I will tell you about the whole game. Ok. I cant help you very much with building, but i can about Builder's club, selling/buying, making money, and making friends. Ok We'll start with making money. There are two currencies in ROBLOX. There are ROBUX and Tickets. ROBUX have recently been changed to a member's only feature. Tickets, on the other hand, are earned daily and by getting place visits. Getting people to visit your place is a vital part of playing ROBLOX. For every place visit you get one Ticket. Now, about your place and building. As you might have already discovered your ROBLOX page and your place. To change the name and description of that place, select "Configure this place" under the picture. Clicking on the picture of your place brings you to a page where you can veiw how many servers are on your place, how many people are on those servers, the names and pictures of those players, and the comments. Visiting your place in Solo mode gives you a wide variety of options. (Visiting in Online is where other people can see you, and can chat with you in 3D.) In solo mode, at the top-left of your screen,there are three buttons of importance. 1- Tools(solo only) - Opens a toolbar with many options: there is the Explorer window, Properties window(DO NOT CLOSE THESE WINDOWS - its a hassle getting them back up), and a variety of tools at the top (including resize, move on axis, pause, play, and others). Button #2. - Insert(solo only) - Opens up a toolbox of models and decals from every player in ROBLOX. Pull the pull-down menu in this box, and you will se various options, like Free Models, My Models, Furniture, Roads, Free Decals, etc. Press any of these and a new search pops up. Entering a search in the seach bar searches the open option (like models). You can search for just about anything you want, from buildings to planes. In "My Models" you can search all the models you have created. Button #3 - Exit - Exits you from the place you are at, and in solo mode opens up the save window. Now, about Selling/buying/Builder's Club. Builder's club is a $5-a-month membership that allows you to sell shirts and pants, earn 10 ROBUX a day, and get 10 places instead of one. Buying items: go to the Catalog, and you will be greeted by many pictures of cool hats. On the side you can also select shirts, pants, t-shirts, models, etc. Clicking these opens up the buyable objects. Each object costs ROBUX/Tickets and can be worn by your character online. Same thing goes with shirts and pants. The only way to sell objects is to get Builder's Club. Now: Making/accepting friend requests. To send a friend request, visit a player's ROBLOX page. To the right of their picture, click the "Send friend request" button and tell them why you want to be friends. Press the "Send" button at the bottom to send the request. Same goes for messages. Click the "Send Message" button (above friend button) and type and send a message. To accept friend requests, go to your ROBLOX page and scroll down past you place picture. If anybody has sent you a request, it will show a pic of them and their name. Click on them to veiw their friend message. Click accept at the bottom to accept and decline to decline. |

To make models you can simply put bricks together, or you can find a model in insert then edit it. You decide what it looks like.

To ervinos: Well, putting missles onto a helicopter is very complicated. You would have to write some new coding into the Plane tool, and you would have to add guns, name them correctly, and position them in the right places for it to work. |

To myworldgirl08 and stas11: It is quite simple really. All you have to do is first open up your place in solo or edit mode(you can find edit mode in roblox studio). Next at the top left' it will say tools and insert, you want to click insert. Then it will open up and show an assortment of bricks, all different colors and above them it should say Bricks. There you want to insert the blue brick, or whatever color you want your water to be. After you have clicked it it should appear fairly close to you, when it has appeared then select it and make sure you have properties and explorer open. You can find these by opening tools at the top left' of the screen right next to insert, then after you have that open click view which is located at the top toolbar and then a drop down menu should appear, click on properties and explorer, if it is already open then there should be a checkmark by it. Well back to selecting it, when you select it something should come up in properties, if it doesn't then reclick the brick, and then scroll down until you see CanCollide, uncheck it, near the top it should say Transparency, change that to 0.7 and then press enter. After that you should be able to see through it and sink into it! |
