You may need to re-install your operating system. It seems the operating system is Windows XP. If you only want it for foruming and not actual gameplay, a good operating system to put on it would be Lubuntu, a lightweight version of Ubuntu. It's a free download. Download the 32 or 64 bit ISO file, then burn it to a compact disc. Insert it into your machine. Press the hotkey to change the boot order, and make sure the disc drive is at the top of the list. It should give you a menu upon booting. Tell it to Install Lubuntu and go through the setup wizard. As far as data backup goes, it's just too hard to explain all that step-by-step. I started to, but then I just gave up...

Your OS is not responding anymore , i know it's a mini pc wich means no CD , try installing windows via a usb drive , if you don't want to lose your file , try recovering them with linux ubuntu then transfer these file to another pc then install windows , easy.

This is how. Download Universal USB Installer (UUI) which can be found with a simple google search. Download the desired Lubuntu ISO. Open the UUI wizard. Select Lubuntu from the drop down menu, browse to your ISO file, and choose the drive letter for the flash drive you want to use. You should format. Wait for the process to complete, eject the USB drive, then set USB as the primary boot device on the HP mini. Insert it, and done!
