I think the show was a bit heavier and had more layers than previous episodes. There were some subtle lines paired with smart camera-work that you really had to pay attention to catch.
For example, there is a scene where the doctor takes a plate and uses it as a mirror, asking the Half-Face Man if he knows where he got his face, and for a brief second we see the doctor's face on the reverse side of the mirror, as he himself still isn't sure why he got his face. |
