Spicy ducked under another knife swing, returning the would-be blow with a razor sharp card. She spun back, letting flurries of blades out with every toss. The walls were coated in metal dust from the projectiles. Gunfire wouldn't stop erupting. It seemed to be luck keeping her alive. She ducked behind a crate of ammunition, grabbing a belt of lead bullets from it. She tossed it out, casing the metal to clang against the stone floor. Naturally, it worked as a distraction. Spicy tossed a magic card, erupting into a spout of flames as it hit the ground. It ignited gunpowder inside the bullets, sending shards of lead flying in every direction. Men scurried for cover as flaming shrapnel filled the room. Spicy dashed out under the cover of smoke, dropping another magic card as she climbed the stone stairs and out the door. The glass pane shattered behind her as the steel door nearly blasted off its hinges in the explosion. Everyone inside the room was quite obviously dead. --Meanwhile-- Kado signaled Boba and rockit over as he pressed his back against the brick wall of the city hall. He held his pistol high, aiming at a window. He pulled the trigger, causing the glass to shatter. Guards came out back, perfect. Kado whipped one down with the rubber handle, taking a shot at him. Another of Trioxide's cronies tried to shoot down Rockit, who countered with a horizontal stab. Trioxide heard the commotion, and readied one of his weapons. Kado and Boba both ran for cover, signaling Rockit over. But it was too late. Rockit was struck by a bolt of red hot energy. Trioxide's thirst for blood was sated now. The guards fell back, assuming that all three of them were caught in the blast. Rockit had truly perished Nothing was left there but dust and rocks, and some glass. --Meanwhile-- Luigi heard the blast, and looked back to see the smoke rising from the scene behind down hall. He dashed back over, pulling his revolver out of its holster as he ran. He backed against the wall, peering over to see Boba and Kado leaning over a pit. He wiped his brow, it was nothing bad...right? He slowly approached them. They noticed him, but didn't seem to care. Rockit was dead...
