I keep getting these scam PMs, it's annoying. It needs to stop, it has to. I can't stand it. It's the same one each time, just a different file sharing site. New players should have to wait 30 days before having the ability to send PMs to help stop scamming.

Having a short waiting period is a good idea, but a whole month? New players would get frustrated and likely quit before the time ends.
If it bothers you, change your privacy settings. |

A week just helps the scammers a little less. A month is agressive enough to stop is by 1/2. And I will be rude to non-supporters, because that one in specific is stupid. |

Support, 3 weeks fine.
This was implemented because this is how spam bots work
1)Bot signs a new account up
2) Bot sends scam PM
Repeat forever
With this, the bot cannot send the message, and this will winsiderably sloow down scams, ALSO. 1 Month before commenting too |

I'd say my argument was valid enough, thanks. If I were a new member, I'd want to be able to use the PM system once I'd made some friends. If it told me I have to wait a whole month before I can do that, I'd likely log out and forget about ROBLOX entirely. That's not good for the business. |

Settings > Pivacy > Who can message me (Change to friends).
See? That wasn't so hard. It also isn't hard to ignore and report messages, I don't even know why some of you guys would even try clicking it.
I don't agree with post at all, why should new users be limited just because of desperate idiots? Scams will always be all over Roblox, nothing you can do about it apart from limit your messaging to friends only. |

Account got stolen > wants to inform friends because hes talking to ya friends being mean to them, etc. > makes alt and wants to tell them > cant follow them because privacy settings too high > cant pm because of a MONTH waiting. |

And Bradderz, I can't turn off PMs to only friends. I need it for everyone, I am the 2ic of a group. I need all-user PMing. And I do understand your point about losing your account and wanting to notify your friends, it's called a blurb you can simply put in the blurb "My old account is: (so and so) and it got hacked, this is my new account." so you can re-FR your old friends, and if they're not stupid, they're smart enough to read your blurb instead of insta-declining. |
