I like it. Europe has 53 countries, with more states fighting for independence. You need to expand to assure at least a few more of those countries get represented. And besides, rising football countries like Romania, Hungry, Turkey and Ukraine are all represented, so it won't dilute the product because those countries on their day can actually win against anyone, especially Turkey and Ukraine.
Throw Scotland, Wales, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Austria, Norway and even Belarus and Iceland, and you've got a highly competitive qualifying round alone.
the main thing that pisses me off is seeing all these non-eu real madrid bandwagons who go "WHEN I WATCH EUROS I WANT ONLY THE BEST TEAMS IN IT". well for all you kobe sized morons; when you're european, then you're argument counts. until then, worry about your own damn continent and your own damn country.

in that case your argument doesn't count either.

my grandfather's whole family is italian/ethnically jewish.
my nanna's whole family is welsh/irish.
that last comment was more so aimed to people from places like asia and africa who bandwagon the crap out of whoever is winning.

Go Israel! I doubt we have a chance against Belgium Wales and Bosnia
Welp |
|

Dean, 16 out of 53 countries made it competitive, but it'll be even more competitive with more countries able to qualify. |
|

danny, natkho is a god though. he's better than almost all of wales and bosnia. the only players from both those sides that are any good are dzeko, bale, ramsey, ashley williams, ibisevic and ben davies. everyone else from those sides suck.
israel could easily get through. |
|
|
|
dammit i forgot about him, and besic.
the only other players from wales that i consider alright are tom lawrence and adam matthews. the rest are barnsley quality. |

you don't have to be euro to know about european soccer/teams.

good point. but it does piss off a lot of real club supporters when you see people who bandwagon your team and they can't tell you anything prior to when they became successful.
my dad's friend comes from manchester, and has been a city fan since birth (he was born in the 50's). he gets pissed every day when he sees all these "fans" talk about city like they've been fans since the time he was born, when they've only supported the club since 08 when mansour took over. and then they can't tell him who denis law or trevor swift are but can rant on and on about how city should sign whoever's got the highest overall on fifa.
it annoys a lot of supporters.

MUH HERITAGE!!
Yeah I identify myself as Scottish-American. Though most of my family lineage has been in the United States since the 1700s, my grandfather was from Aberdeen. |
