Neongoo51 sent LavaRuby to the ground with the capsule again. MagentaDelight dropped a pill-like thing on the ground, and a micrOTer burst out of it. When Neongoo51 viewed it with a microscope, he found that is was Hiloman again.
"Hey, how did you get your hands on THAT micrOTer?"
LavaRuby's body wanted to back down when she saw the micrOTer, but her mind was too furious to do that.
Neongoo51 was giving advice to LavaRuby (who didn't seem to be listening), while MagentaDelight kept complaining about Hiloman's failures.
LavaRuby was doing all she could to dodge Hiloman's deadly blows. Every time Hiloman missed, she went after her with her heat fist, but ended up missing as well and then being struck by Hiloman's glowing rod. Finally she decided to take some of Neongoo51's advice.
"What are Hiloman's clones, made of, exactly?" Neongoo51 stressed out to her.
"THEY'RE ILLUSONS!"
Neongoo51 thought for a second.
"Do illusions have shadows?"
"NO!"
"Well, now you know if the one you're attacking is real or not!"
LavaRuby looked at Hiloman when she missed in front of her. Hiloman's shadow seemed to disappear instantly. Instead of going for that one, LavaRuby saw another shadow appear in front of her and lunged backwards with her heat fist. Hiloman was completely unprepared for this and took a considerable amount of damage. MagentaDelight was getting more frustrated, mainly at her micrOTer.
"Why aren't you landing any hits anymore? It was going so well in the beginning!"
"I'M TRYING MY BEST!"
"Yeah, because you're obviously trying your best when you're letting yourself get hit!"
"I CAN'T CONCENTRATE WHEN YOU COMPLAIN SO MUCH, SO SHUT UP!"
LavaRuby was still dodging back and forth to avoid Hiloman's glowing rod that seemed to be coming out from everywhere. Suddenly she was attacked by five of them all at once and had no room to dodge, causing her to get hit again.
"THERE'S TOO MANY OF THEM!"
"Watch the shadows!"
"THE GLOWING ROD, I MEAN!"
"Well, there's only one of them that glows!"
LavaRuby looked closer. Sometimes the rod was glowing, sometimes it wasn't. She noticed that she didn't seem to be hit by the rods that weren't glowing.
She was attacked by nine glowing rods at once, except only one of them were actually glowing. This time, she leapt into the air as they were all attacking from different directions and charged downwards with her heat fist at the Hiloman with the actually glowing one, causing even greater damage than before.
Hiloman couldn't stand up. MagentaDelight could not be more unsatisfied with her.
"You can't rest now! Get up!!"
"DOES IT LOOK LIKE I CAN?"
"It doesn't matter at all, just get up!"
"I SWEAR, I'D BE DOING BETTER IF YOU WEREN'T HERE RIGHT NOW."
"No, you're just being too disobedient! Maybe we'd win if you actually listened to me!"
"NO, YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S SUPPOSED TO LISTEN TO ME. BECAUSE YOUR MIND CAN'T THINK AS WELL AS MY MIND CAN. SHAMEFUL..."
"Yeah, right! If you're a single cellular organism, your brain isn't even the size of an atom!"
Neongoo51 couldn't help but try to put a stop to their argument.
"Want to know why you're losing? Well, LavaRuby and I actually try to act as one, while you two just flame each other back and forth. Is that really an effective method?"
MagentaDelight started to think. Hiloman didn't want to think.
"I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!" She said as she ran (or as she tried to run) off, limping.
"...Also, this time I'M the one who punches YOU", Neongoo51 continued on.
MagentaDelight was just standing there, thinking. Then she stomped at the ground. Unfortunately, LavaRuby happened to be standing right where she stomped.
Neongoo51 seemed to explode internally.
"Magenta!?"
"I'm not in a good mood!" She said as she ran in the other direction.
Neongoo51 slowly moved his microscope over to what was supposed to be LavaRuby. LavaRuby was still alive, but just barely. She slowly lifted her flattened arm to grab the other part of the antenna.
"NEON... I... I'M..."
"LavaRuby, are you okay!?"
"D-DOES THIS LOOK... OKAY TO... YOU?"
"...Listen, you'll be okay if you think you'll be okay."
"HOW AM I... SUPPOSED TO THINK THAT... RIGHT NOW?"
"...One way or another. Just... YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!"
"I... JUST CAN'T. BYE... NEONGOO51..."
She became lifeless.
Neongoo51 just sat there until Kalyrian eventually stopped by him.
"What's up, Neon?"
Neongoo51 didn't look up. He just handed the micrscope over to Kalyrian who also viewed the remains of LavaRuby.
"...I feel like something's going on around here. I'll need to do some more investigation on the entire thing."
"The entire thing?"
"You know, the the thing about the three cells and everything."
The unknown OTer was called into M's room. She didn't really want to enter, but she was obliged to.
"Master M..."
"Did you succeed?"
"Y-yes..."
"Then... Good."
M turned back to looking at his monitors.
"You have only one mission left to help us with."
"What... Is it?"
"We need you to locate the last one of the three cells."
"...Can you introduce me to RT when I'm done with that?"
"Yes. Unless something unexpected happens. Get going, now."
The unknown OTer couldn't help but repeat the words "unless something unexpected happens" in her mind as she went out of the room.
