Well American sensitivity after the sinking Lusitania swayed the public opinion towards joining in world war 1. so uh that also broke our idea isolationism which lead to us getting involved with geo-politics more, lead to us joining WW2, leading to a period of economic propserity and growth, which leads to USA's status today as a hyper power. |

Isn't the US like trillions in debt with china? |
@Distante China owns only 8% of our debt, also their real estate bubble is about to bursts. We owe most of the debt to taxpayers, and ourselves. |

thats definately 8%
ok dude |
People act like owing debt to China is going to kill us
They owe a massive amount of debt to us as well, if the US was to stop paying for labor from Chinese sweatshops then their economy would absolutely smash itself into submission. |
US is filled with r3t@rd$ and idiots. That's the end of it. |

Yeah ok you europoor filth |

Actually, debt to taxpayers is not reported through national debt. And we owe way more than 8% to china |

pretty sure we depend way more on china than they do on us.
If they wanted their money back it's game over |
"if they wanted their money back it's game over"
facepalm... |
"pretty sure we depend way more on china than they do on us."
No because America is an industrial machine as has been proven thousands of times in history and cannot be put to rest. China depends on their exports going to America to survive.
"If they wanted their money back it's game over"
Not at all how it works. |
@Distante your listings aren't the total nation debt, it's the 'FOREIGN HOLDERS OF TREASURY SECURITIES' so we owe china 22% of our FOREIGN debt, and the total foreign debt makes up 28% of our national debt. so .22*.28 = 0.0616 So it's closer to 6.1% |

I still don't know if your IQ is half that of the IQ at the top of the bell curve, or you just don't understand debt. |
