PREFACE/PREREAD: First, this isn't a "bring back old ROBLOX" post, this is a "let you browse the site using a layout or style from the past, adapted to modern pages and links" post. Also, this may be rather long, so instead of looking at the whole thing and saying "tl;dr", either read the post or don't, but if you don't, it would be helpful if you didn't reply. Also, my main is from 2009 and is still active today. This is a foruming alt. No, I won't tell you who my main is. Chances are, I don't trust you enough. I trust exactly two people on ROBLOX enough, and they're not extremely active in the first place. Now to the actual post.
To anyone who joined before this current layout, you've seen history, even though this layout is fairly new. ROBLOX has gone through many layouts over the years. Most people will never get to experience these, and many older users want to be able to browse ROBLOX in previous versions, as do newer ones. I, myself, am fine with anything, although seeing ROBLOX in 2009 again without using online tools would be nice, at least for nostalgia. Some layouts were very detailed, some were simplistic, and others unforgettable. I'm sure a lot of us remember when we could choose between a couple options f.or how the site looked during browsing. Of course, as ROBLOX continued to develop, these went away, in favor of other projects, although some things that are broken have yet to be repaired. This suggestion would just be an expansion on an older feature - instead of having a couple options, there would be an option for every layout ROBLOX has had since late open beta or so, tweaked to include new features, like Trade, Develop, and Leaderboards, as well as events, simply for compatibility's sake. Do note that the game itself and studio would be unchanged, since having the option would give people unfair advantages one way or another, or, in some cases, give back underlooked vital mechanics back, like that green dot thing. But I go off on a tangent. What we need is the ability to change how we look at the site. This would give no advantages nor disadvantages to anyone, as the OBC-exclusive builds would remain OBC-exclusive, but be enabled for every build they existed.
If you've read this far, congratulations, you can read without falling asleep at the sight of words. Please give honest feedback but refrain from being rude, because we're all friends here - this is a suggestions forum, after all, not a clubhouse.
