After 20 minutes or so of twists and turns, you are extremely thirsty. Just over a hill to the south you can see a fence, of which leads to a very active yet still abandoned looking airfield. |

I slow down at the side of the road. I look through my pack for water and if I have any binoculars. |

No binoculars, but you do have a full jug of fresh water, which isn't all too cheap 'round here.
You can see a helicopter flying out, and from what you know, it's an Mi-8 (google it) |

It's not just a camp, it's an airfield, there's quite a size difference.
You're stopped by a group of UAZ jeeps and Urals. A man steps out, armed with a PKM, he says "State your business or be shot!" |

"Take him to the range, give him one of those AKMs."
The men nod, and tell you to get into the jeep. |

I climb into the jeep, and let them take me to the firing range. |

You can see them load the ATV into their ural.
Once you get to the range, they hand you an AKMS, or AKM "Skladnoi", with a standard 30 round magazine. "Put it in an pull back that thingy." A man says, pointing to the bolt handle.
"Then you shoot those targets, okay?" |

I do as the man says, and do my best to shoot the targets. |

You get a total score of 126, mainly because the rifle they gave you is very (very) hard to control on full auto.
They hand you another magazine and a side mounted PSO type optic.

"Uh, slide it on the rail, right?" I say. |

"Rail? No, you pull this thing back," He pulls back the locking mechanism, then slides it on and slides it back. "There. Now try and hit those farther targets. You see them, right?" |

I aim down the scope, and put the gun on semi automatic (if it has one, otherwise 3 round burst, if not then just pull the trigger for a split second) and try to snipe the targets downrange. |

You get a 10 pointer on the first target, now for the moving ones. |

I decide to use the semi, and shoot all of the targets I can with it enabled. |

You get a few 3 or 4 pointer's on the side to side target, but an 8 point shot on the one peeking out from a wall.
"Try and do the side to side ones a bit more, see if you can improve." |

I try to lead the side to side targets, if they're at a decent range. I do my best o hit all the targets the best I can. |

You get some decent improvement. You're ranging in about 4-7ish points. You notice a convoy preparing to leave.
"Ah, damn. We've been here too long. We have to go to CPA, the raid is scheduled in 20 minutes."
He takes the AKMS, folds the stock, and slings it onto his shoulder. He then takes you to a crate full of small arms. "Pick a rifle, any rifle."

I put the uniform on, and use the strap on the Dragunov (if any) to strap it to my back. "Any masks?" I ask. |
