Well, I would highly suggest learning information on things such as decimals and rounding/estimation. You won't have to become extremely skilled at mathematics, you just have to have knowledge of the basic mathematical operators and figure out ways to quickly get to the required number.

yes. you get a calculator in one way or another but unless everyone gives exact change you have to add the coins and bills together
