So, I have played roblox for a long time now and this never happened until about a few months ago. I will start to play a game and it will run perfectly on every setting until after a little while when the game just drops down to like 5 fps. I have run internet speed tests so i know that its not my internet and i have a great computer. Please Help!

You can try to change your graphics settings - 1. Press ESC in-game. 2. Click "Game Settings" 3. Go to Graphics Quality and drag the bar to the left. You can also try to close some programs on your computer. If you are using Windows - 1. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete 2. Click "Open Task Manager" 3. Click some of the programs you aren't using and click "End Task", it usually helps if you end the programs closer to the top. If you are using Mac - 1. Hit Cmd+Opt+Esc 2. It should open up the force kill window where you can stop an app from running. 3. If that doesn't work, try Activity Monitor in your Utilities folder. I hope I helped. If you have any more questions, please ask.

closer to the top? that means nothing don't bother using task manager, just exit programs regularly

Closer to the top of the list of programs that are running - programs that use a higher amount of memory that may cause lag on their computer. Are you here to help or criticize posts?

"Closer to the top of the list of programs that are running - programs that use a higher amount of memory that may cause lag on their computer." That's in Processes, and only assuming you have it sorted that way. In Applications (the one you were referring to) it's not sorted at all. And, frankly, by saying that, I am helping. Then again, you aren't helping that much either, as he did say that it just started happening. Therefore, it's most likely not caused by a large RAM consumption.

Once again, though, task manager should only be used when a program is frozen. It's better to simply exit the program regularly.

Casef, does this happen on every game, or just one? If it's just one, it's most likely due to lag caused by a large number of inserted parts, strenuous physics use, or something like that.

It also depends on your internet connection

Note: I have tried changing my graphics settings but when the lag comes it does not make a difference at all

In that case, I need your computer's specs.
