Australia just passed a bill in which ASIO will be able to watch all Australian networks simultaneously. Everything you do on the internet will be watched if you live in Australia soon and they will also be able to access your computer files and view, modify or delete them if it is on a warrant to monitor.
Australia has a two party system and both parties support this.
