Since in all realism, there is some teams that will never be good, (ex. UMASS, UCONN) It is not band wagoning to like another team that you have a reasonable reason to like, will always be a fan of, and isn't never going to win another game in their history. Thoughts?

As long as you don't take the other team's record into consideration when choosing, I guess you are right.
