Russians killed 90% of the Germans yet lost more men than the Germans. I've heard things about how if Patton had his way, he would have met the Russians in Poland. The Sherman was like the way it was because it was much easier to ship and produce. In a war when time counts, would you rather have to wait long periods of time for small shipments of a decent to good tank, or wait short periods of time for big shipments of a not-so-decent tank?

Back to my statement about the Shermans, the exception to that is the T-34s. Then again, those tanks were immediately put into battle considering the factories weren't as far away as the American factories.

US had some war crimes, yes But the Russians had even worse Something like 95,000 Germans were captured at the end of Stalingrad, but only 5,000 made it back to Germany But as the saying goes, "History is written by the victor"
