At the moment, my 3 most popular games, intense defense, defend the frontier, and defend the frontier 2 are practically dead.
My most successful game, defend the frontier, which is now nearing 300,000 visits, hasn't been updated since last year. I stated months ago I would never update it again. Well, V2 is coming in the next few weeks, a huge update to the game which will fix many bugs, and add new features.
As for defend the frontier 2, there will still not be any updates. I am still thinking about making it inactive, but then again there are still many people who play it.
As for intense defense, I will continue to update it, but it may be a while until 1.4 comes out. 1.4 will fix all the issues and will have many changes.
Now, with all that stated, I am thinking of a few things. One can obviously notice that all 3 of my games are similar. I have spent countless hours working, and spent so many robux on ads, yet I do not feel my games are successful as they should be. Don't take this in a greedy way, but I have spent more than a million robux on ads, yet I can barely earn a profit.
I feel I need to make different types of games. Defense games don't seem to appeal to many users.
So, I am creating a new game. Cube racers. I won't release much info on that yet, but expect a new game this winter.
Alright, that's all I wanted to say. Just wanted to keep you guys up to date on what's happening in the near future. Stay tuned for what all will be going on. Thanks to all my fans who still play my games and continue to support me.

Maybe you should finish making your games and make sure they have a lot of stuff in them before you put ads on them :| You didn't have much of weaponry or attributes when you could have added way more things to spice stuff up, but you made ads for games that probably had bugs and glitches in them. You might see better results after you FINISH and POLISH your games FIRST and THEN make an ADVERTISEMENT. |

I've admitted my mistake of making DTF 2 and ID. I should have stuck with DTF 1 and updated it. Far too late to fix that mistake now.

If I were you, I would leave DTF original the way it is so players can know what the original is like. And assuming that you're entirely with DTF2 like you say you are, you can always remake it or replace it with ID.

The DTF 1 update is essentially bug fixes, aesthetics, and more weapons. No major changes.
Stuff 2 will be removed. |

This post wasn't made to trash on one of the best developers on Roblox guys, lets be adults and comment on how awesome all these new changes are. Look at the future not in the past. I for one look forward to all these updates and will give Xeptix what little help I can, I suggest you either do the same or stop ragging on the guy who makes the best defense games.

So basically you're telling me defending a friend is immature? Also constructive criticism involves also complementing them, and I didn't see any of that in the replies that seemed hostile, and yes just to clarify being "adults" means being mature and not just putting down a game that someone worked hard to create.

wikipedia says this:
Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one. The purpose of constructive criticism is to improve the outcome. In collaborative work, this kind of criticism is a valuable tool in raising and maintaining performance standards.
So you don't HAVE to add positive comments, it's just that constructive criticism USUALLY has it.
I feel that Blackstride, Rook344 and I did well informing xeptix what steps he may take to make better games.
Also, why must we be adults? This is a kids game, not an adult only site.
And when you said ragging I am not sure if you meant raging, but if you did then I say I saw no raging at all, everyone seemed calm, if you meant something else then I'm sorry for the confusion.
Also, if you don't look at your past mistakes and learn from them, then it will be harder to improve in the future. |

Dictionaries provide a different definition of constructive criticism, meaning you are wrong. Don't make un-educated facts. Furthermore, you were not defending him. You misinterpreted us and got upset, then complimented OP a lot which is long for the term 'suck-up'. |

Also, by pointing out my blurb you should be able to understand why I would dislike the rude comments made about the game. I think of Xeptix so one of my best friends on Roblox isn't it natural to try and stick up for your friends? |

They aren't all 'rude', and if you saw my 2nd reply you should see that it is constructive criticism. It was also an opinion, which you obviously can't see and you got mad because nobdy worshipped him in the in the thread. You obviously love everything about him. Your favorite place is DTF2, you're a higher-up in the studio, you brag about him in your blurb, and that's why I'm calling you a suck-up. |

Can we stop this war? Yes I know that I should have waited to advertise my games and I shouldn't have abandoned DTF, and I haven't been so shop spending my robux wisely. I made mistakes that have costed me hundreds of thousands of robux, not to mention what I could have gotten from DevEx.
Now I feel as though I'm on a clean slate and I can start fresh. I still have the same goals I had a year ago. |

2nd, I enjoy your defense games, preferably DTF2 because you gave me the Banshee, which I call Sheila.
Anyways, I'm not sure about racing games. Even though we need a GOOD RACING game, ever since Chair Racing died. I mean a racing game, not stuff like Driveblox. I mean a legit Racer, were you actually race. I don't think its your strongpoint, but what can I say? I have no scripting abilities what so ever. Anyways, um, good luck.
