I'm not clueless on this..I've been here for a year and a half, I know what I'm talking about.

What I'm establishing is that around half of the people here prefer metal, while the other (estimated) half prefer rap. I'm not saying that they're fighting...You think too hard about what I say, I literally just stated it how it is.

first of all, hip hop heads isn't even what they're called. second of all, I said that a lot of the rappers here post LYRICS to SONGS they wrote, while from what I have encountered, a vast majority of the metalheads here post about memes and offtopic things, and occasionally they talk about metal. they mainly just make comments about how bad rap is and that metal is better.

well, they don't. it's daily that metalheads say "RAP SUCKS" or "REASONS WHY RAP IS THE WORST GENRE", and I personally don't respect metal at all, and I know I speak for a lot of the rappers here.

yeah the connotation behind "divide" is just as negative. the tense of the word implies that both demographics are being pulled apart by something. why is that so hard to understand?

they are called hip-hop heads, indiella. second, i can argue that just about as many hip-hop heads post just about as much nonsense as metalheads do, and i have seen PLENTY of threads that diligently argue how atrocious metal is. all of these points are fallacious and easily countered by things of equal or greater severity.

why is it so hard to understand that i used a word to describe how MT is...half the people here like rap and the other half like metal, there said and done. stop whining about the terminology i used.

yes, daily. if not, then every other day do I see "Why rap sucks" or "Why metal is sht" those names you listed literally are the people who say "this music sucks" under a rap thread. thank you for the language arts lesson. i understand that they are not synonyms.
