That's exactly the problem, if you really think that someone is condescending then simply consult the person, this offers verification and can prevent many potential problems.
It's a style of communication because the person themselves develop and adapt it based on the knowledge they acquire, there's many "intelligent" people of various cultures who simply have intelligence that varies significantly from the definition according to central civilization yet these people are highly intellectual in their capabilities. |
