Well, there is a huge Atheist minority, and a small Christian majority or maybe just a plurality.

@Dharma3 I didn't get mixed up with Atheism. My first post told you. And also, how can you have a small majority and a large minority? Isn't that a pair of oxymorons?

Ignoring all posts, I ask myself, isn't religious flamebait like this not tolerated? To the person who started this thread: I'm happy that you're wanting to learn about a new country, but I'd prefer that you read the rules first. NO RELIGIOUS FLAMEBAIT WHATSOEVER! Religion opens a whole new world of harrassment for those who try to start battles that the other person can't win, there's always a higher force beyond us on this website and they'll happily smack you in the back of the head with their banhammer of justice for even breaking the rules. If this is too long for you to read, the summary is: DON'T POST RELIGIOUS TOPICS!

You can't have a religion through default. It's a choice for each person and the leaders of each country what their religion is.

Uhh, no I didn't. I said it to be sarcastic. I'm British myself. Did you fail to notice the tongue-out-gif implying I wasn't being serious. And okay Thorae. I guess that makes sense.

Britain was once Roman Catholic, Henry VIII broke away, and became head of the church Edward VI made it more Protestant Mary I turned it to Catholicism again Elizabeth made a Middle Way in religion And eventually, we're now mainly Protestant, with loads of other religions and sub-groups of Christians

Ya it's very interesting *ignores article* Christianity is not always the default. In India, Hinduism is, for example.

In the West, Christianity is quite big, in the East, it's Islam, Judaism and Hinduism. I think, correct me if wrong
