To a point, it is. But people still have to. -unload incoming trailers -sort packages based on destination -sort small packages to be bagged together -operate belts to guide boxes to the right trailers -load the trailers <- what I do. On a typical day I load anywhere from 1200 to 2000 packages to be shipped to distribution centers in other states.

Also how old are you? Im only 15 but I am keeping my eye out for places that may be hiring in the near future and we have a distribution center in town. Every morning if your down that way you can see the step vans and semis head out for the day. Fun to watch.

I'm 18, but I have a friend who just got called in for an interview and he's 17. As of right now they're hiring a lot because once Christmas time rolls around we need as many people as we can get. And yeah, I always get kinda wowed on Mondays, that's the only time I get to see all the delivery trucks roll out. It's pretty cool to watch them convoy.

I've been rejected dozens of times, does that count for anything? Planning on getting a job before this Quarter ends. (my Uni goes on the Quarter system instead of semesters)

Had a job at a Shell gas station. Quit because my coworkers were terrible. They texted constantly when they should have been working. They lied to their boss about doing tasks, like I would fill up the ice barrels then they take credit. They gossiped and it was just too dramatic and stupid. My boss did nothing about this, and neither did the manager. Couldn't stand it. Made $3000-$4000 in that job. I'm so angry that I lent a third of my money to someone who never gave it back "because financial problems". That person then bought her kids video game consoles and computers. What a stupid liar.

I thought there is only 1 person needed to work at a gas station at once.

There are two tills so there are usually two people working at once, sometimes three if someone's being trained. Wow, you know, employees need to use the washroom too... What happens if the only employee working needs to use it? Or do something else (my former coworkers smoked like 10 ci/gare/ttes a day for example) Really busy place, so even if there was one till, there needs to be more than one person... Where in the world did you get the idea that only one person works at a gas station simultaneously...

From my family and while watching other gas stations with 1 worker only at the moment? Maybe you're working in a larger gas station and the laws in my country could be different (no washrooms required). In a smaller gas station you don't have to work in 100% of the time, i don't see always customers.

Or maybe it was the working time, i've seen gas stations with 1 worker only at 6am.

Hm? There was one gender neutral washroom and there was always at least one customer in the store. It was open 24 hours a day, too. Only one person would work the night shift though, it wasn't as busy.

No job, don't need it either. I use the word wc when I'm refering to something involving a toilet, /dоuсhе/ when it involves a shower and /badkamer/ for the rest. Ik ga even naar de wc. Ze staat onder de dоuсhе. Hij was in de badkamer. MYRCO - 더는 낭의 꿍에 갇혀 살시 아。- MYRCO

I referee basketball. It's gets pretty boring when you do the 1st and 2nd graders, because of how easy it is.
