No, if one didn't speak English, I doubt one would come to this site and just happen to post in the correct forum. Even so, you're lucky. All my school has is Spanish.

just knowing words really won't do. you need proper knowledge of the grammar to be able to form sentences, or you'll have a lot of vocab and no way of using it.
