They exist, they're just extremely tense and usually awkward. ...It's really rude to talk while I'm interrupting.

For those of you who think a boy-girl friendships can't happen, or would be awkward and tense, my question to you is why?

@TheAsassin, I'm going to go down the list of girls I have recently texted/called and explain my friendship there. Well, I am friends with one of my best friend's girl friend. No banging wants to happen there. My best friend is a girl. Although, our friendship definitely extends passed a normal friendship and honestly we will probably be going out in a week. I have one friend that is a girl who has achieved bro status. Trust me when I say I'm not attracted to her. She's just a cool person. Next up is an old friend of mine. I go to her for advice. I'm friends with her boy friend. She's attractive, I'm just not attracted to her. Oh, now this next one I was attracted to. She graduated high school last year. Anyway, she has remained a friend of mine, although sadly we don't talk as often anymore. Ah, this girl I have known for 9 years. She was friendzoned 8 years ago. What can I say, in 3rd grade I had a massive crush on her. She never fails to bring it up to joke with me about. Okay, so I counted four others that I talk to on a regular basis, but I think my point is being made. There are plenty of girls I consider my friends and yet I have no intention or want to hook up with. I know that they are attractive, I just don't feel the attraction.

you aren't literally friend-zoned with every girl, there's can only be one at a time "The Sauza so malo...", and then she said "You need to grow up."

This is honestly kinda sad that the majority of people here think boy-girl friendships are weird... I have a bunch of friends that are girls and none of the friendships are awkward. It's just like any other friendship.

My bestest friends have always been guys even when my mom and grandmother always tried to force me to ditch them to be friends with girls instead. Hell, my bestest friend right now is a guy and I've only known him since sixth grade. Dunno how a lived a life without a friend like that.
