You still forgot to make the list of chapters you will not appear or appear as NPC or appear as miniboss or appaer as boss in

its working,one thing i noticed is the enemies take like,a really amount of stes
for more balacing,please make it more steps
also,no xp is given (maybe becouse we are at leel 99)
then at spooky skeleton you cant go under on the stairs |

Already fixed that (as well as worked on lots of stuff)
I also changed the exp they give but its useless anyways
also you START Off the game OP unless you mean like "More steps = Less annoyance" THen okay

Because the average steps I set up is 5 or 6
that cant be true...
UNLESS
Its the MAXIMUM Amount of steps you will face a monster
while 1 is always the minimum (Unless I change it to 0 or not add any encounters)
Anyways on the other news
I've made Jay and Colin(Now as children since their fantasy ended),Their stats,Starting Level and Max level they can reach
Plus their starting equipment

I thought that it meant the amount of steps you need to take to encounter a monster
But I still dont get it
let me search it up....
Actually average steps isnt the problem
its weight
basically the highest is the common(I believe 10) While lowest is rarest(0 or 1)

Such as this:
The encounter with Weight:10 is most likely to appear most
the Encounter with Weight:9 is second most
Also if I dont make them appear at all...what else is left to Well "Try" To stop the heroes? (Also to demonstrate fighting and skills) |

I think I found out the answer:
Steps Average
Specifies the frequency of encounters while moving on the map using a value that stands for the average number of steps taken (1 to 999 steps with each step representing traveling over one tile). Use a smaller value if you want to have monsters appear more frequently.
So what do you think I should do? |

changed to steps average(Or where you BEGIN Finding monster encounters) to at least 15 to 16

Progress is one of those days
Generic Castle has been FINALLY FINISHED NO CHANGES OR ANYTHING
The steps average are also changed to 15-16
The first real world area (known as colin and jay's play area thats where they play and fantasize their stories such as the Generic castle story!) is made
the world map is made but there is bound to be changes
also you can re-enter the play area just to let you know but I dont think there is anything happening here
The ACTUAL Demo will be released soon..or tomorrow
(No tech demo 1 because Im pretty much done with Generic castle..I WAS Planning to make it before i add in the generic princess but im like "Meh whatever")

Not appear - Does not appear in this chapter
NPC - appears as NPC
Party member - Appears and Joins as Party Member
NPC(Soon to be party member) - Appears as NPC then Joins as Party member
Miniboss - An important Miniboss
Boss - An Important Boss
For example lets say i add in generic guy
he appears in:
Prologue(Does not appear)
Chapter 1(NPC)
Chapter 2(Miniboss)
Chapter 3(NPC Soon to be party member)
(NOTE:He does not actually appear,hes just an example)

Again I'm not good at making custom sprites
I would need a good RPG maker VX Ace spriter to make the custom sprite
but right now i still need to work on prologue
then when thats out of the way,theres a chance I will try making an OFF Fangame (Along with A New Hero chapter 1 which may start somewhere in november) Called "Project OFF - Randy's Version"
So We'll see how it goes |
