African American eh? I met this kid, he was African, and he said 'you know, I'm tired of being called "African American" I am an American, NOT African American!' See what I mean? Would you rather be called an American? That's what you are! I don't call myself a "Cuban American" I'm AMERICAN! In canada, they don't call eath-other "French Canadian" or Italian Canaidan" They call themselves Canadian. See what I mean?

Although actually, "African American" is just a term to make more formal of the term "black". If that's the case, then doesn't that mean "whites" should be called all these different branches of "...American"?
